We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Rosa. It was the most memorable trip I think I’ve had. The house was perfectly located right on the beach with hardly a single person around us, just the occasional person passing by! We kept saying everyday, how lucky we were to be able to stay at this house with amazing views and hospitality.

Maria and Bernardino cooked us a lovely meal one night and we had enough left overs for a whole other meal the next day! The house is a short 5 min walk to casa cenote and a few hotel restaurants. We ate at those restaurants most days as we didn’t want to drive or have to leave our house for too long!

Nick was super attentive and emailed me all the info I could possibly need. This is a very well managed Airbnb! I would go back every year!

“Casa Rosa is an absolute dream. From the moment that we booked it we knew we were in for special treat! Once we arrived, we realized that this was no ordinary Airbnb… it far exceeded our expectations! It is tucked back in a gated community which also has a security checkpoint. We felt so safe and secure.

When pulling up, we were immediately immersed into exactly the experience we were hoping for: the ocean merely steps away! The house is lovely, decorated in traditional Mexican fashion. It was extremely clean as well. The four bedrooms provided so much space for our two families with children. We never felt crammed. There is a lovely open concept on the main level allowing for an easy flow between kitchen, dining and living.

There was three sets of sliding doors on the main level which allowed incredible views of the ocean just out the back. The upper level had another King sized master suite plus a landing which accessed the exterior balcony area. There was even a third level that was completely open to the outside which allowed for a beautiful stargazing at night. Outside, the veranda has two swings and a dining space than easy access to a delightful little pool. It was just the perfect size for our kiddos!

Then going down the steps was a perfect backyard filled with sand and palm trees! The two hammocks were perfect for rocking our babies to sleep. Multiple lounge chairs allowed for us to sit anywhere… whether under the shade or right by the ocean for early morning sun rises! It’s true, the sand was not as fine in the water and there was many reefs so there wasn’t much space for swimming unless you went past the reefs a little ways. But that did not detract at all from our experience.

What really tipped this place over the edge was the service provided by Maria and Bernadino every day. We felt spoiled by Maria’s attention to detail as she cleaned inside and Bernadino‘s exterior keeping of the grounds and pool. Both were so friendly and polite and we greatly enjoyed interacting with them! Our final evening we ate their homestyle cooking which was such a treat! The flan was to die for! Nick was so easy to correspond with an extremely helpful with his tips on Covid testing, local sites as well as providing all the house information ahead of time and with great care and detail. We hope to come back as the stay here was an absolute dream!”
